This beautiful hike up a dramatic canyon leads to the pretty, wildflower-filled meadows of the upper canyon set beneath rugged peaks. Extend the hike by walking to a viewpoint with vistas extending to the cliffs of Death Canyon Shelf and Mount Bannon.

Stunning views of Middle Teton, Nez Perce and Jackson Hole are the highlights of this scenic hike up Garnet Canyon. This trail, part of the popular climbing route to Grand, Middle and South Tetons, is not as heavily trafficked as nearby Amphitheater Lakes.

Surprise and Amphitheater Lakes

A scenic hike to two lovely lakes tucked in a rugged cirque beneath Disappointment Peak. Views from the lakes extend to high summits of the Teton Range; Middle Teton, Grand Teton, Mount Owen and Teewinot Mountain.
Marion Lake via the Teton Village Tram
Distance: 13.0 miles (Round Trip)
Ride the Jackson Hole Aerial Trail to the start of this long, strenuous hike journeying into the Tetons backcountry. The path follows a scenic section of the Teton Crest trail to pretty Marion Lake, nestled in bench beneath the divide.

Hike through sagebrush flats, forest and meadows to scenic Phelps Lake, nestled in a glacial bowl beneath Prospector Mountain, Albright Peak and Static Divide Peak. Tailor the length of the hike to match the available time and the ability of your party.

Travel along a series of photogenic lakes with gorgeous views of the Teton Range stretching from Teewinot Mountain to Mount Moran. This is a great area for families or anyone looking for an easy, relaxed outing with great views.

Scenic Swan Lake and Heron Pond, nestled in lodgepole pine forest, offer good opportunities to see waterfowl and sometimes beaver and moose. Sections of the loop trail offer fine views of Mount Moran and its neighboring peaks towering above Jackson Lake.
Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point
Distance: 1.0 - 1.8 miles (Round Trip)
This hike features a scenic boat ride, a beautiful waterfall and a nice overlook with views of Jenny Lake, nearby peaks and the Gros Ventre Mountains to the east.
Distance: 9.9 miles (Loop)
Two scenic ponds, views of the Tetons towering above Jackson Lake, a chance to see wildlife and some solitude make the Hermitage Point Loop a good option for hikers looking for an easy, full day hike or a good hike when weather precludes hiking in the high country.
